AUDITION INFORMATION

 

The 2025–26 season audition is open to all junior high and high school cello students with at least 1 year of orchestral experience. As part of the application, students will need to submit a link to a video of themselves playing the following:

• 1 major scale of your choice in 2 or 3 octaves, and

• 1 melodic minor scale of your choice in 2 or 3 octaves, and

• 1 solo piece of your choice. Suzuki book 4 (or equivalent) is the minimum level required.

The entire audition video must be recorded in a single take and be completely unedited. Applicants must be clearly visible in their video. Youtube videos should be "unlisted," not "private."

The submission deadline is May 9, 2025 at 11:59PM.

Results will be sent via email no later than June 1, 2025.
